I get so disappointed sometimes when I talk to young feminist women. No, not simply because they are feminists. The reason I feel disappointed is because very often they haven’t thought things through. And I think these women and girls are better than that, but they don’t allow themselves to be. It makes me sad that they’ve simply accepted feminist ideas without question, no rational train of thought, sometimes no train of thought at all. It makes me realise that feminism is actually detrimental to them and this will have a knock on effect their entire lives because if they don’t think for themselves now, then when will they start?

Feminists talk about the ‘historical oppression of women’ so easily and yet when questioned they have nothing substantial to say about it. They have been told by feminism that men have it better than women, and they simply believe that, never bothering to look at things from a different perspective, never bothering to put themselves into the shoes of men. 

And feminism allows them to do this. Hell, it thrives on it. 

A movement that is supposed to empower women, to ‘liberate’ them from their so called oppression, is actually doing nothing more than turn these young women into mindless drones. Feminism is mother, feminism is father. Its ideas are truth and must not be questioned. Any woman who questions these ideas must have internalised misogyny, they are poor creatures who have been duped by the patriarchy into believing what men want them to believe.

In short, feminist teaches young girls that feminist ideas are the only ideas they should listen to. It teaches them not to think for themselves and that’s the least empowering thing I can possibly think of. 

This post is absolute garbage and is pretty misguided. If I had the energy I would rip it apart but I’ve just had a pretty severe mental break. If someone else wants to step in and help, feel free.
